It all started at Dawu- Akuapem in the then Akuapem North District, now Okere district in the Eastern region of Ghana, with 10 players in 2019.
The youth in the community used to organise themselves every evening and share among themselves to play in divisions, which is popularly known as small poles.
From there, the Young United Fc founder (Michael Kofi Asiedu) intervened to organise them for a justification, which was then extended to five communities. The good players were selected and nurtured for the Division 3 league in the Akuapem North district in August 2019. The club qualified for the 2022-2023 league season.
